My Little Sister: Stephanie "Wet-Wet" Flores
It was indeed the first time for us to celebrate such momentous and joyous event since my mother's death last November. We've had recent gatherings before but those were for my mother's passing (her 40th day) and the prayer vigils prior to her 40th day of passing. We were just lucky to have aunts who helps us fill the gaps of my mother and guide us as what our mother need to do before when she was still alive. We are also grateful that our father tries his best to support us and give us a comfortable life and for not allowing us to experience first hand poverty (though we are not rich).

I wasn't able to attend my sister's graduation since I need to prepare for our lunch. We didn't expect our relatives to come and congratulate my sister. I was happy to see we're almost complete. Why I say just almost? It's because in my heart, we will never be complete, not without my Mama. Nevertheless, it was great to see our family enjoy, share some laughs, and have fun. We can now share some hearty laughs just months after that devastating death of my Mama. I can feel that the wounds are now healing. But it still leave a scar, a reminder of our loss. Well at least, we can now smile.
